Becoming Yourself: the four-month coaching program of Thoughts in Action
Becoming Yourself is the four-month, one-to-one personal growth program of Thoughts in Action, led by founder Alex Poolman. It is built on one idea: your life is your invention. A thought becomes a belief, a belief becomes what you experience, and you are in charge of what you choose to think.
What Becoming Yourself is built around
Three movements, and one program built around them:
- Effortless creating — the tools and the understanding to create your life the way you want.
- Abundant lifestyle — claiming what life has to offer, without guilt about it.
- Thought made action — the step where a decision becomes something that actually happens.
How the four months run
- Month one: what you are actually saying to yourself. You catch the sentence you repeat most about yourself and swap it for one you would say out loud to a friend.
- Month two: what you actually want, with the borrowed goals stripped out.
- Month three: the part where life interferes, and you keep the plan through a normal, difficult week.
- Month four: making it yours. You run the structure yourself; the aim is that you do not need us afterwards.
The full month-by-month description is on what is actually inside the four-month program.
Still with me? If this is starting to sound like your own situation, the fifteen-minute call is free and there is no pitch.

Sessions, format and contact in between
Sessions are roughly an hour, with agreed contact in between. The between-contact is the part that makes the difference. Online and in person both work: online is more consistent for most people because it survives a busy week; in person is stronger at the start and at the end. See online or in-person coaching.
What it costs
The program is quoted per person, because the amount of contact differs. You get the number in the free call, before anything else is discussed. A payment plan is possible; ask in the call. There is no rolling subscription and nothing renews unless you ask for it. More on what personal growth coaching costs.
Who it is not for
Anyone in acute distress, anyone looking for a guaranteed financial outcome, and anyone who wants this done to them rather than with them. We are coaches, not therapists and not doctors. We will say so in the free call rather than after you have paid.
