A 20-minute morning routine for a clearer head
You do not need a two-hour ritual. This is a twenty-minute version that fits a normal life and has one purpose: starting the day on purpose instead of on reaction.
Minutes 1 to 5: body first
Drink a glass of water, open a curtain or step outside for daylight, and move a little: stretch, walk to the end of the street. Keep the phone out of this step.
Minutes 6 to 10: five quiet minutes
Sit with a drink and do nothing. If your mind is busy, count ten slow breaths. The aim is not calm. It is noticing how you feel before the day tells you how to feel.
Still with me? If this is starting to sound like your own situation, the fifteen-minute call is free and there is no pitch.
Minutes 11 to 15: write one priority
On paper, write the one thing that would make today a good day if it were done, and the first small step for it. Then one sentence on what could get in the way.
Minutes 16 to 20: then the phone
Check messages after the priority is written. The order matters, because an inbox hands you other people's priorities.
When it falls apart
Shrink it. Two minutes of water and a written priority beats a perfect routine you drop on Wednesday.
Common questions
Not necessarily. You can shorten the routine to fit the time you already have.
Pick two of the four steps and do them whenever the morning allows.
No. Quiet sitting counts, and so does a slow walk.
Still not sure? The fifteen-minute discovery call is free, and it is a real conversation rather than a sales call. You will get a straight answer about whether this is for you — including when it is not.
